The leather used in this product comes from a tannery audited and certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG): the organization with the most demanding environmental regulations regarding leather tanning. Their guidelines require tanneries to reduce their water and energy consumption, as well as the use of substances that could be dangerous. The tanneries we work with are located in Europe, and are committed to working with us to obtain materials responsibly and adopt a system of continuous improvement (implementation of material traceability systems, fight against deforestation practices).
